Flames stage dramatic third period comeback to extend win streak
The Calgary Flames continued their winning ways on April 2, as they rallied to defeat the Anaheim Ducks 5-4 in a thrilling game. The victory marked the Flames' fourth straight win, keeping them in the playoff hunt and just two points back of the Winnipeg Jets.
The Flames got off to a slow start, with the Ducks taking an early lead on a goal by Ryan Getzlaf. However, Calgary responded quickly with goals from Elias Lindholm and Matthew Tkachuk to take a 2-1 lead.

With just over eight minutes remaining in the game, Michael Stone scored to tie the game at 4-4. Then, just a few minutes later, Lucic scored his second goal of the game to give the Flames the lead for good.
The Flames' win streak has been fueled by strong play from their top players, including Lindholm, who leads the team in scoring with 27 goals and 28 assists, and Tkachuk, who has 23 goals and 23 assists on the season. However, it has also been a team effort, with contributions from players like Lucic, Stone, and goaltender Jacob Markstrom.
The Flames will look to keep their momentum going as they continue their push for the playoffs. Their next game is on April 4 against the Los Angeles Kings.
