Matildas Continue Winning Streak with Victories over Scotland and England
The Australian women's national soccer team, known as the Matildas, have continued their winning streak with victories over Scotland and England in friendly matches held in April 2023. Match against Scotland
The first match was against Scotland, which was held at the Plough Lane Stadium in London on April 3. The Matildas won the match 3-1, with goals scored by Emily Gielnik, Hayley Raso, and Mary Fowler. Scotland's only goal was scored by Erin Cuthbert in the second half.

The second match was against England, which was held at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on April 6. The Matildas won the match 2-1, with goals scored by Sam Kerr and Tameka Yallop. England's only goal was scored by Nikita Parris in the second half.
