Tears for Fears Announces "The Tipping Point Tour Part II" in North America
British rock band Tears for Fears recently announced the second leg of their "The Tipping Point Tour" set to take place in North America this year. The tour will include 14 shows, including a stop in Vancouver and Laval. The band, known for hits such as "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and "Shout," will perform songs from their latest album "The Tipping Point" as well as their greatest hits.
The tour will kick off on June 23 at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, and will wrap up on July 19 at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, Tennessee. The Vancouver concert will take place on July 8 at the Rogers Arena, while the Laval show is scheduled for June 30 at the Place Bell.
Tears for Fears formed in 1981 and gained worldwide popularity in the mid-1980s with their second album, "Songs from the Big Chair." The band has sold over 30 million albums worldwide and has won numerous awards, including BRIT Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and Grammy Awards nominations.

In a recent interview, Curt Smith, the band's lead vocalist, and bassist, said that he and Roland Orzabal, the band's co-founder, and guitarist, were excited to be back on tour and to perform for their fans. "We can't wait to play live again and connect with our fans in North America," he said. "It's been a long time, and we're ready to rock."
The band's latest album, "The Tipping Point," was released in February 2022, and features 12 new tracks, including "Stay," "Broken," and "Me and My Big Ideas." The album was recorded in London and Los Angeles and produced by Tears for Fears and Charlton Pettus.
The upcoming tour will be the band's first in North America since 2019 when they embarked on "The Tipping Point Tour Part I." The band had to postpone several shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic but is now ready to hit the road again.
