The Knicks, meanwhile, struggled to get much going on offense. Julius Randle, who had been the team's best player during the regular season, was held to just 13 points on 5-of-16 shooting. Derrick Rose led the team in scoring with 19 points off the bench.
The Knicks will need to regroup quickly if they hope to tie the series in Game 4. They will be without key role player Caleb Martin, who is dealing with a foot injury. Meanwhile, the Heat will hope to get Adebayo back for Game 4, which would give them a boost on both ends of the floor.
