South Sydney Rabbitohs Dominate Melbourne Storm in NRL Round 10

The South Sydney Rabbitohs put in a dominant performance to beat the Melbourne Storm 32-16 in Round 10 of the NRL. The Rabbitohs have now won five straight games and are looking like one of the teams to beat in the competition.

The Rabbitohs got off to a great start in the game, with Jaxson Paulo scoring the first try of the match after just five minutes. They continued to dominate throughout the first half, with Dane Gagai and Hymel Hunt both scoring tries to give them a 20-6 lead at half time.

The Storm came out firing in the second half, with Reimis Smith scoring a try just three minutes in to cut the Rabbitohs' lead to eight points. However, the Rabbitohs responded quickly, with Keaon Koloamatangi and Josh Mansour both scoring tries to put the game out of reach.

The Storm were missing some key players for the game, including Cameron Munster and Harry Grant, but coach Craig Bellamy refused to use that as an excuse for their loss. "We had some guys out, but we've got to be better than that," he said. "We just didn't play well enough."

One of the Storm's main focuses was on stopping Rabbitohs fullback Latrell Mitchell, who has been in outstanding form this season. However, Mitchell still managed to make a big impact on the game, setting up two tries and making a number of other key plays.

Casualty Ward: NRL Injury List and Return Dates

The Rabbitohs will be hoping to continue their winning streak in the coming weeks, but they will have to do it without one of their star players. Prop Tom Burgess suffered a knee injury in the game and is set to be sidelined for several weeks.

Despite this setback, the Rabbitohs will be confident of continuing their good form, with players like Mitchell and Damien Cook leading the way. They will face the Wests Tigers in Round 11, while the Storm will take on the Canberra Raiders.

Tatola Targets Storm Big Men to Keep Rabbitohs Rolling

Rabbitohs forward Junior Tatola was one of the standout players in the game, making 26 tackles and running for 143 metres. He said the team's focus was on dominating the Storm's big men in the middle of the field. "That was our plan, to really target their big boys," he said. "We knew if we could do that, we could get on the front foot and get some quick play-the-balls."

The Rabbitohs will be looking to maintain their momentum in the coming weeks, with tough games against the Roosters and Panthers coming up. If they can continue to play like they did against the Storm, they will be a real threat in the NRL this season.
